I had always planned to run that Smitty carrier with my 37" But now I run none Use the MBRP reinforcement kit with that carrier and your gold. My buddy carried a 37" that way for 4 years on his 07 and had no issues. MBRP replaces the spot welds. Actually break the welds off and use a nut...

Good info and you'll be fine.

If you have any concern at all purchase and install the MBRP rear tire carrier reinforcement kit.

I ran it on mine while carrying a stock JK 17" and 35" KM2.

However if spending $1,000 on chromo why not spend $1,400 on RVC?

But really an AT3 isn't much of an off-road tire so if the P makes you feel better on pavement then roll with it.

I'm about to get a set of Revolution axles. They're a bit more expensive, but, they're the only USA made axles out there. Lifetime no questions warranty, including due to joint failure, and no tire size limitations. for the price of those you have dang near bought RCV. (looking at front) for ...
