hmm... i didnt even know those were there, then again, i never have taken out my trans, but whats wrong with it, need a rebuild? i have the same 4.0 and 42RE in my 04 wj

this one appears to have a bad torque convertor. I am hoping the flex plate arrives Friday and may get it all reassembled this weekend maybe......

oh ok, yea i think i may have TC issues too, but ive been told its the fluid drain back valve, after it sits for about a week, it has to build pressure for a min before it will take off, but its not a big worry for me

I don't know what they are for, but I do know I've never re-installed them.

This one shifted fine. It had a vibration under throttle.
