for d44 diff cover...I need to replace a couple with damaged heads from rocks when I take the cover off next time

Try Fastenal. I usually also replace them with Stainless Steel. Also if you have a armored cover they may be 3/4" long. My Solid cover is super thick.

Just get a 5/16" bolt that's longer then cut it to 5/8" long with a cut-off wheel.
