Post Best place near Fairmont for lifted Jeep alignment ?
I need to know the best place to take my Jeep to get it aligned after I get my lift on.
I want someone that knows how to do it properly on a lifted Jeep, with adjustable trackbars, etc.
hope to find a place in Fairmont so I dont have to drive it far all out of whack.

John, I know glotfelty does it here in Morgantown... not sure if they do it "right" or not, but I think it might be worth a shot.

hmmmm Wonder if the one in Bridgeport does also, thats where I am getting my tires anyway.
I will ask them when I call them for a few tire quotes.

You should be able to work a free alignment into it... shops around here will do that if you buy the tires from them  :D

Nah, not worth the time and effort, just rather take it some place that knows what they are doing and know its done right.
Besides, if i will be up there getting the tires that would work out well.
Though, I am not sure I will have time to get the lift on and get up there to get the tires before Dick Cepeks rebate runs out. grrrrrrr

Called Glotfelty today and talked to Joel.
They do alignments with a laser setup.
5 tires mounted and balanced with alignment $930, not bad at all.
Now I just need to find the time to get this lift on !!!
Wish I had another vehicle right about now, I would just have the Jeep in pieces in the garage for 2 weeks.

I think you would be better off doing the trac bar(s) yourself. Most plces will either not take the time to adjust them properly or they have never seen one before since no vehicle has ever came with a adjustable trac bar.
The camber won't change, the castor won't change enough to get out of the spec range. The toe is the only thing that WILL change due to the Y steering linkage.

nitecop, I totally agree, most places would have no dang idea what to do with a lifted Jeep.
but I specifically asked about that when I talked to Joel, they have no problem with the aftermarket parts.

Gee I think   I remember someone telling you to keep you truck so you would have something to beat around in and run parts in just for times like this.
J/K They are who did mine and did a fine job indeed.
