Re: Your lift and your thoughts

Im running the Rough Country 2.5 suspension lift. Have no complaints yet...other than you need to add a .75 spacer up front to level it out. The jeep seems to ride slightly better than the stock suspension and the price was around $300. RC also offers a 3.75in combo lift, which is the 2.5 suspensio...

You guys will have to educate a newbie. Explain what's involved with highline.

Your lift and your thoughts

I'm doing a ton of research (some might say too much) about a lift for my Jeep. I'm planning on staying around 2 or 2.5 inches and I think my options are a little limited in that size. I'd like to know what lift you have on your Jeep and what your thoughts are about it.

Thanks.

Re: Heater control issues, Fan Speed

I have the same issue with my 2005 TJ, only its the 1 and 2 positions of the switch. I've thought about replacing the actual switch, but this makes it sound like it could be something else.

Re: Local 4x4 Shop recommendations

The lift was on it when I bought it. it has 33" bfg mt's and I could full stuff them with just the sl with no contact. I now run 35" km2's and can get them to full stuff with no contact with tube fenders. Thanks. That's good info. I'd like to see what it looks like. I've read a lot online (other fo...

Would you say their lift heights are under rated? Will I get a little more than 2" out of their 2" spring lift?

Re: Local 4x4 Shop recommendations

what size lift and what brand you going with? I'm wanting to go with something like 2 or 2.5". I can't decide if 2" will be enough. That's why I'm also thinking 2.5" I already have 31s and I don't want to go to the expense of adding a slip yoke eliminator, driveshaft, etc. right now. I'm kind of un...

Re: Local 4x4 Shop recommendations

Many on this board are more knowledgeable than most 4x4 shops, and they will work for beer and pizza if you ask them REAL nicely. :bigthumb: Come in, talk a while, make a few friends........you might find it worth your time. agreed!! :bigthumb: I'd be interested in meeting some of the people here a...

Local 4x4 Shop recommendations

I'm in Scott Depot. I know of two 4x4 shops near me. Can anyone give me their opinions and/or recommendations of either. I may be doing a lift soon and would like to talk and see how much they charge for install. That may help me decide if I really want to tackle it myself.

Thanks.

Re: new member

Thanks for the nice welcome!

I was afraid someone would ask me what car I saw it on. I think it was a dark red (burgundy) eclipse...if I remember correctly. Don't hold me to that.

Do you guys get together very often? Even if it's not for trail rides?

Re: new member

Thanks for the welcome. The only mods I've done so far is replacing the milk jugs with the end caps. Planning a budget boost around Christmas. Here's a cell phone pic from the day we got it. I really need to take some more....and better. http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy183/pumpkinracer/Jeep/IMG...

Hello everyone! I'm new to JeepinWV.com. I actually saw a sticker on a car that led me here.

I have a 2005 Wrangler X Rocky Mountain. I've wanted a Jeep for a long time and this is my first one. I absolutely love it!
