Re: Project Barbie Jeep (FOR SALE)

Somebody bring me $5000 and you can have a whole garage full of jeeps and parts....There is a lot more than that just in parts if you were to buy them. There's a full hydro setup, LQ4 6.0 with standalone harness and ECM, TH-400, NP-208, extra Corbeau seats, and who knows what else I've accumulated o...

Re: Project Barbie Jeep

Yeah I debating on selling the other green CJ-5 that's been sitting with a bad tranny for several years now too. Everyone that used to have jeeps around home that wasn't afraid to beat the crap out of them now has a sxs of some sort. Not sure why but I really want a nice 95 or 96 Eddie Bauer Bronco ...

Re: cj flex

I had waggy mains on the front of mine and I think Dakota mains on the rear of mine and a combination of random springs thrown together. It's been too long since I've messed with that jeep to remember, but it flexed like crazy. Had to run an antiwrap bar on the rear as a result but then again if bui...

X2 on starting to bleed at the MC. Just crack the lines on it and use them as a bleeder. Then bleed the rest of the system. I seem to remember a little mpin under a rubber cap on the prop valve that needed to be pushed or pulled for something. Might look for that as well. Again I can't remember exac...

Re: Vacuum to brake booster

Do you have good brakes with the booster unplugged? Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? They can get air in them if it's a new one or has been completely drained and can be a pain to get the air out. I don't think there's such thing as too much vacuum on the booster.

Oh yeah if it were going to be mine it would have a LS engine, 9" and 44 with discs all around, and some 33's with some modern luxuries and drive the crap out of it, but he wants to keep it completely stock if he gets it. Even put the factory steel wheels back on. I'm with you though Slade. I'd love...

Re: 55 Willys Wagon

It would be something he would hang on to for a while definitely. I guess it's got 40,000 orginal miles and was a one owner before him. Came from Oregon. Only rust on it is supposed to be the tailgate and passenger floorboard. The guy is pretty negotiable on the price from what my dad says as well. ...

55 Willys Wagon

Anyone here into Willys truck or wagons? My dad is looking at a '55 wagon that's supposed to be all original. Might be going to look at it within the next weekend or so. Anything specific on these to look for besides the basics? Guy wants $8k for it which seems kinda high to me unless it is actually...

Re: Alaska Off Road Warriors

It was ok at best...extremely over exaggerated for TV, but what can you expect? The whole time I was laughing at the thought of a random bouncer or mega truck showing up on set haha
