In addition to the iPhone TouchBB app, we've installed support for Tapatalk. Here's the promotional crap:

Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone / Android and soon to be on Blackberry and Nokia. Tapatalk supports vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) and phpBB forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.

maybe i am not as smart as the phone i am using but what is better about this than just opening it in the browser is it easier to use or faster or what thanks for any info u can provide

much faster load times. especially when using your cell network instead of wifi.

faster than the browser i have an android/hero and i dont see it laging in opening speed at all on network or wifi

I've gotta Blackberry Tour... any word on when it's going to be available to BB users?

did some checking it has a free version for android but it will not let you respond to post you have to pay 3.99 to get that feature i think i will just keep using the browser good luck to those who use it just not for me

I'll be honest, guys - I don't know anything about it. The only thing I can do on my phone is call people. :) mountaineercj mentioned it in another thread, and it was easy enough to install, so I figured I would. He uses it on stagger, so I'm sure he can be of much more help than I am.

I have 0 problems using my Moto Droid accessing the full site. I got an annoying popup last night when I tried to read a PM in bed that took me to the app store and tried to convince me to buy the app tho.

I use the app "TouchBB"... I have used it for awhile now and it seems to work just fine... and its FREE, unless you want to add more than 3 different forum boards.

The popup only let's you know that forum is using Tapatalk. No spam.
