Your lift and your thoughts

I'm doing a ton of research (some might say too much) about a lift for my Jeep. I'm planning on staying around 2 or 2.5 inches and I think my options are a little limited in that size. I'd like to know what lift you have on your Jeep and what your thoughts are about it.

Thanks.

Im running the Rough Country 2.5 suspension lift. Have no complaints yet...other than you need to add a .75 spacer up front to level it out. The jeep seems to ride slightly better than the stock suspension and the price was around $300. RC also offers a 3.75in combo lift, which is the 2.5 suspension and 1.25 body. Should have went that route to begin with. Good luck.

You guys will have to educate a newbie. Explain what's involved with highline.

If I were doing another TJ, I would highline it AND do the 1.25" body lift, at the very least.

The highline is nice because it keeps the center of gravity low, and allows you to run a much larger tire.

The body lift is nice because it tucks the transfer case up above the frame rails and give you much more clearance in that area.

The only downside of highlining is the loss of a "stock" look.

I have an 1.25" BL, 1" MML (motor mount lift), and a TT (tummy tuck). The next step is either going to be ~2.5" SL (suspension lift) or just high-line it to run 33" tires. I haven't decided yet. When I first did te BL/MML/TT I didn't have any vibes, but I'm starting to develop a few. I think my drivline angle is a little off. I need to get some adjustable rear control arms to fix it.

I have a 1.25" bl, 1" mml, and a 2" budget boost lift. My stock coils were in good shape so it was a cheap and dirty way to get the height I needed for 33's. Wasn't the best setup but it wasn't terrible (for my needs). 40k miles later, my stock coils are really sagging. I started collecting parts for a new lift but I'm still undecided on the which coils I want to buy. 2.5" OME, 3" BDS, or 3" Currie. Figure I'll high-line once the fenders start rusting or get crumpled.....just too pretty to cut now

Well Highline it and do a 2.5" lift. The OEM shocks for a Tj are only like 8" travel....even with my 2.5" Kit I can run 10" travel shocks....

BUT keep your cog low too.

I'm leaning toward the 2.5" OME lift when the time comes. My springs are shot.
